Introduction to Holiday Camps

Camps are a massive part of what we offer here at Teach Me Tennis. Starting from age four and going all the way up to 18 we passionately believe that camps can be fun but also a real learning opportunity.

We ensure that the sessions are structured to help all players improve with strict ratios of one coach per six players allowing us to deliver quality coaching. Every day of the week is a different shot so although booking a week block isn't a necessity, five days cover most of the shots you will need for tennis.

Our camps are real tennis lessons not aimed at purely entertaining children. Our coaches work in the same manner as our term-time lessons and we have loved seeing some of the great development in players over the last few years.

Effort required

We hope players and parents alike understand the aim we have for our camps. Our coaches have all worked in other venues on camps that were based around childcare and didn't provide an environment where players could develop. Our goal is to take camps as a serious chance to help players get better. We expect all parents and children to see an improvement in understanding and or performance.

“Hello – I just wanted to say thank you for another great year with you. I can only imagine how tricky it’s been to work with the ever-changing rules but you did it.
Sam just absolutely loves coming to your classes. How you manage to get children with the co-ordination of jellyfish to get to the point of having rallies is beyond me….”
Lucy, term time parent

“I can highly recommend the whole team at Teach Me Tennis.
My son (age 7) has attended two so far of the Summer camp sessions and really enjoyed them”.
