About us

Welcome to Teach Me Tennis. We are a tennis coaching provider based at Peppard Lawn Tennis Club just outside of Henley. We teach children from the age of three years old and run a detailed term time programme as well as having extensive tennis camps over nearly all of the school holidays.

Our aim is to ensure that all players we meet will learn our wonderful sport in a safe and fun environment. Our passion lies in ensuring that our players not only learn the necessary techniques but also the skills needed to actually play a tennis match, and even how to win. We hope to take the seriousness away from all competition and slowly introduce the formats used in tennis so our groups can develop at whichever speed suits them. Whether tennis is the main focus or a sport to learn and enjoy as a life skill we will have a group that’s suitable.

Company Story

Teach Me Tennis was founded in 2013 by Ollie and Louise. We followed a different coaching company at Peppard with a determination to deliver the coaching quality and consistancy that is tricky to find in bigger companies. For Ollie it was a chance to have full control of how tennis is taught and an opportunity to create the club environment that helps to make tennis approachable for all ages and standards.

Through the fantastic support of our customers and hard work of the whole team we are now seeing over 280 players a week on our term time junior programme and have three full time coaches and numerous assistants as part of our set up.

How we coach

Our passion is making tennis more of a sport than a hobby. We try to make everyone actually play tennis, not just learn to hit a ball.

How to find us

We coach at Peppard Tennis Club, just outside of Henley, where there are six well maintained courts with lovely surroundings.

“Hello – I just wanted to say thank you for another great year with you. I can only imagine how tricky it’s been to work with the ever-changing rules but you did it.
Sam just absolutely loves coming to your classes. How you manage to get children with the co-ordination of jellyfish to get to the point of having rallies is beyond me….”
Lucy, term time parent

“I can highly recommend the whole team at Teach Me Tennis.
My son (age 7) has attended two so far of the Summer camp sessions and really enjoyed them”.
