We run our coaching sessions (term time coaching & holiday camps) at Peppard Tennis Club.

The club is based just outside of Henley and only a few minutes away from Sonning Common.

There are six quality tennis courts (resurfaced only a few years ago), a new club house (built in January 2014), a practice wall, and four of the courts are floodlit allowing for play in the evenings and darker months. The club house is fully fitted out with a kitchen, toilets, changing areas, an inside seating area and a veranda looking over the courts.

So there are fantastic facilities here!

Players having coaching don’t have to be a member of the tennis club but there will be a guest fee to pay for non members. For juniors attending the coaching regularly it does work out cheaper to become a member and members benefit to access to the courts to play and practice!

Address & how to find the club:

Peppard Tennis Club, Peppard Common, Colliers Lane, Rotherfield Peppard, RG9 5LB

(Please note this is not a postal address!)

If you park on the common outside the Red Lion pub – there is then a pathway to the left of the pub that leads straight to the tennis club – a lovely peaceful area away from the road and surrounded by trees and greenery!

I just wanted to say what a fantastic party Andy, Imogen and Beatrice put on for us. Finn and his friends had a fabulous time. It was really high octane and kept them all really engaged. A big thank you and well done to Andy.

He has really loved the sessions. I wanted to him to come as a precursor to going to school in September and thought it might help with the transition. I've been really, really impressed with everything, and would love for him to come again. I think Ollie, Christian and Sam have been amazing in particular, but that said, so is everyone else.

He’s loving the lessons and would very much like to continue next term. The coaches are so friendly and encouraging. It’s doing him a world of good. It’s the coaches who really make his experience. Their enthusiasm and good humour is infectious and just what my son needs! And as a teacher myself, I really appreciate the energy and effort it takes to constantly give out encouragement and targeted praise, designed to boost a player’s self-esteem and at the same time move their game practice forward.
